Your Account

Your Account contains your profile, account setup information, as well as options to delete old channels and manage how often you're alerted of updates. To access Your Account, click Account at the top right-hand corner of any netomat page.

Create an account

You can create an account from a computer or from a Java-enabled mobile phone.

Note: You must be at least 13 years of age to create or use accounts on netomat.

From a computer:
To create an account, go to www.netomat.net and click Sign up now!. All information on this page is required. If you do not have a mobile phone, check the Check here checkbox. Next, select your service provider and your phone's brand from each of the drop-down boxes. If your exact provider and brand are not listed, select "Other."

We encourage you to read our Terms of Service before selecting I agree to finish.

From a mobile phone:
Open your phone's web browser and navigate to www.netomat.net. Select the Register now link. Next, on the "Create an account" screen, complete the fields. All fields on this screen are required. We encourage you to read our Terms of Service before selecting OK.

The next screen should state that a message was sent to your mobile phone with a link to complete the registration. Open the link and then sign in to netomat. you can then begin using netomat.

Update an account

You can update your account information at any time. To do this, click Account at the top right-hand corner of any netomat page and update your information. If you change your password or email address, you'll receive a confirmation email (Note, if you change your email address, the confirmation is sent to your old address).

Can I have multiple accounts?

Yes. The many sides of you can have as many netomat accounts as they each desire. Each account must have both a unique username and email address.

What is my online storage limit and can I increase it?

50 MB and not at this time.

Is what I put on netomat ever deleted?

You can delete your hubs and entries; however, backups remain along with record of the hub having existed.

How can I close my account?

If you want to close your netomat account, as opposed to no longer using it, you can contact us. Note that you will no longer have access to your netomat channels.

I can't sign in to my account.

Your username and password are in the "Welcome to netomat Hub!" message sent to your email address when you registered.

Find my password

Email us to retrieve your username. You'll receive an automated reply with instructions on how to sign in.

Is content on netomat child friendly?

netomat encourages open communication using our technology. Some content will be child friendly. Some will not.

Content on netomat is not censored. We require that you be at least 13 years of age to have a netomat account or have the permission of a parent or guardian. Accounts on netomat can be removed at the request of a parent or guardian of a child 13 years of age or younger.

Community Access: Who can see my content?

When you create a channel, you'll see the following options.

Community Access
  • Published channels are searchable by other netomat users and by others through web search engines.
  • Unpublished channels are private. Only the people you invite using recommendations can view your channel. In turn, these people can invite others to view your channel.

What can people see about me?

There are two ways people can see information about you:
  • One, through the info you publish in your public channels.
  • Two, through the info in your profile, which only needs to have your public nickname, but can also include a profile icon, mood, location, gender, dating/marital status, date of birth, and personal description.
